You lucky,  lucky people – I didn’t think I would have time to write this up until the weekend but it looks like I am more efficient than normal so I’m giving you two reports in two days!

This week at the club I faced Tomb Kings again, same opponent, revised army… Ian wanted a chance to get his own back… either that or he is just a sucker for Dark Elf punishment!

This battle report is not a turn by turn account and I haven’t included a deployment map – c’mon people, what do you expect – the full gold star treatment every time??

Having reverted to a safe list it got its first run out last week against Ian’s Tomb Kings. Even though he is going to Beasthammer his list wasn’t built to Beasthammer comp – it was compliant but he didn’t have the extra 200 points he is allowed.

Knowing the new Tomb King book is full of big monsters and lots of magic I went into the game with a slight trepidation…

Having been a good few months since the surprise unveiling of my Tomb Kings army at the Easter retreat, I though I better put up a basic “how to” on dipping as frankly it’s a technique that every painter should consider at one time or another – especially if on a tight schedule… Painting singular miniatures may be an art form, but painting an army is pure science…
