67 days and counting…..

Hey folks, march approach’s let all tremble with fear.  I managed to paint my 15 marauders but I am still a lil behind

of schedule which means this month I have to pull out all the stops.  So for this month I’ll aim to paint another 15 marauders and two marauder chariots.  Once those are done i’ll be on the home staight, and I love a challenge.  Also recently I managed to play a 1500 practise game and surprised myself with a convincing victory against Conrads High Elves.  The game has raised some questions with my army selection but I havn’t decided quite yet on how I will procede, but I have some more practise games planned in the coming weeks which I hope will help.  Its nice to see everyones progress and I look forward to seeing the rest of you lads figs in feb

New year and a new approach

Well January is well under way and the clock ticks to the holiday of the year, Brecon and a gaming marathon is only 10 weeks away (or so).  With a few days off before the slog of work starts again I put my mind to the task of finishing the army I plan to use in March…….

SUCCESS

2500 points complete, I only need to look at some alternative options as I fine tune the list, but basically – I’m done.

Last unit off the blocks are my Wild Riders that have come out all right I think.  In the spirit of multi-racial harmony I also did some dwarfs for a change of pace. Crossbowmen came out well, the warriors also look fine as well.

Paint Club

Alright lads, just had a epiphany or however you spell it. I’m basically starting up a Paint Club, now its similiar to Fight Club… well only with the title, and the following rules.

1. You don’t talk about Painting.

2. You don’t talk about Painting.

3. You don’t talk about Paining.

so that should save me from you guys asking about stuff I’ve not been doing.
